Peace joined our herd from Black Mesa Ranch in Arizona and we couldn't be more thrilled to have this amazing girl here! She comes from a long line of beautiful, productive animals. Her dam is named on the 2017 ADGA Top Ten Breed Leaders list as number 1 in butterfat production, making her a second generation Top Ten Breed Leader.
Peace is as sweet as her name suggests and on top of that, she was an elite doe in 2016 and scores very nicely on her linear appraisal. Her beauty has held up over time, too. In the photo above, she was over 7 years old!

We weren't sure for a while there if we had aptly named Serenity because she was the only stereotypical Nubian in our herd -- she was loud! I am pleased to tell you that as she is maturing, she is also mellowing out and no longer bellows at the slightest provocation.
Serenity is amazingly sweet and very pleasant to handle. She is also remarkably productive! Even after two years in a row of giving us a single kid, her production has matched or exceeded most of her other herdmates. Her udder is well attached and super easy to milk out. We are praying for multiple kids from her in the spring of 2023 -- and are hoping she'll give us a daughter!
