When our son William lost his most anticipated twin doelings in one night, he was devastated. But God had an unexpected gift waiting. Our then live-in adopted grandma, Becky Goldthwaite, had been impressed with how helpful William had been with her goats and she had secretly wanted to bless him with a doeling from her very special doe, Opul. The morning started with heartbreaking loss, but ended with a wonderful kidding and a brand new blessing for William -- and that is just what he decided to name his new doeling!
Blessing is linebred heavily on Goldthwaite Bejewelled -- an incredibly special, heavy producing and influential doe from the Goldthwaite herd. We are beyond excited to have Blessing in our herd. She will be treasured forever!
Blessing will be bred to kid for the first time in the spring of 2025!

Shy and slow to mature, sweet Joy has kept out of the spotlight, but we have a feeling that is all about to change! We expect that she will be incredibly milky when she kids for the first time in February, 2025!

We were beyond excited when she finally gave us a daughter! Susianna may not be very photogenic (poor girl), but she is lovely and we are excited to see how she freshens in February of 2025!

When one of our top does, Penny, had a nightmare kidding gone bad, we didn't think there was any way her horribly malpositioned kid would have survived. But God is kind and when the precious gold doeling cried, we all did, too. We lost Penny the next day, but she left us her golden miracle baby and that is just what we decided to name the doeling.
Miracle is one of the sweetest, most friendly girls in our herd. We are hopeful that she will be just as beatiful and productive as her mother and her older sister, Goldilocks. We look forward to finding out when she kids in February, 2025!
