Goldie's dam, Penny, was one of our home-bred favorites and we are very grateful that she left us with some beautiful daughters!
Goldie, like her dam, has correct conformation and a very beautiful, productive udder. As a two year old second freshener, she peaked at over 8lbs/per day after kidding with a single doeling.
If she looks a little cranky in the picture, it's because she was. She hates photoshoots! But that's okay. We love her anyway and we can't wait to see what this girl does in the future!
Update Summer 2025: Goldie has always been a great milker, but this year after having twins for the first time, she peaked at over 12lbs and looks good doing it! She looks so good that she scored Excellent on Linear Appraisal this year! Our appraiser had lot of encouragement for Goldie and commended her for her amazing depth and dairy strength, as well as her phenomenal and productive mammary. We are thrilled beyond words! Her yearling daughter is also milking like a champ. Needless to say, Goldilocks will be here for a long, long time!
