When our son William lost his most anticipated twin doelings in one night, he was devastated. But God had an unexpected gift waiting. Our then live-in adopted grandma, Becky Goldthwaite, had been impressed with how helpful William had been with her goats and she had secretly wanted to bless him with a doeling from her very special doe, Opul. The morning started with heartbreaking loss, but ended with a wonderful kidding and a brand new blessing for William -- and that is just what he decided to name his new doeling!
Blessing is linebred heavily on Goldthwaite Bejewelled -- an incredibly special, heavy producing and influential doe from the Goldthwaite herd. We are beyond excited to have Blessing in our herd. She will be treasured forever!

Ruby's dam Jewel is a gorgeous, productive doe. Although her bucklings have always been lovely, we had waited year after year for a doe. FINALLY she gave us a doe kid and it was definitely worth the wait! Ruby is long, level, and elegant. Considering her parents, we expect that her udder will be well attached and very productive. She is a bit shy and timid, but she'll get over that. We can hardly wait until she kids in February 2025!
